London-headquartered digital healthcare company Voy, a market leader in GLP-1 obesity care, has entered India through the complete acquisition of EarlyFit, one of India’s leading online weight-loss platforms.
The move makes Voy the first international direct-to-consumer (D2C) healthcare player to enter India, one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing healthcare markets. The company aims to address the needs of an estimated 150 million Indians living with obesity.
Voy India will continue serving patients nationwide through a network of more than 20 endocrinologists and nutritionists. The team will be led by Dr. Saptarshi Bhattacharya (DM Endocrinology, AIIMS), alongside EarlyFit co-founders Parth Chopra and Saloni Paliwal.
Initially, Voy India will focus on weight loss and obesity care, offering affordable generic semaglutide-based treatments that have become more accessible following the expiry of Ozempic’s patent in India in March 2026. Over time, the company plans to expand into broader therapeutic areas by leveraging Voy’s global clinical expertise. Future offerings are expected to include hair loss treatments, dermatology services, menopause care, hormone therapy and testosterone replacement therapy.
George Pallis, Founder and CEO of Voy, said, “This acquisition marks our entry into the most populous country globally, a really meaningful step towards building Voy into a truly global platform.”
Saloni Paliwal, co-founder of EarlyFit, now Voy India, said this partnership brings world-class obesity treatment to India. “By combining global expertise, advanced technology, and clinically proven systems, we are proud to launch India’s most trusted and safety-first platform for obesity care,” she said.
Voy is emerging as a global, multi-country leader in preventive healthcare, particularly in GLP-1-led obesity management. In 2025, the company secured a $120 million non-equity growth facility from General Catalyst and has since pursued an aggressive expansion strategy through acquisitions. Voy entered Germany by acquiring Formel Skin, a company that had raised $40 million, and has also added Morelife, Menopause Care, Optimale, and now EarlyFit to its portfolio.
The company provides evidence-based treatment plans that combine GLP-1 therapies, where clinically appropriate, with ongoing medical supervision and behavioural support.
According to a peer-reviewed study involving more than 125,000 patients, Voy users achieved an average weight loss of 24 per cent over 12 months, compared with 19 per cent among those using medication alone. Ninety per cent of patients reached their self-defined health goals, while the company maintained a clinical incident rate below 0.2 per cent — significantly lower than the approximately 4 per cent reported in standard care settings.
