The Vattikuti Foundation is hosting the NeuroNext Forum, a nationwide public awareness initiative focused on advancing education around movement disorders and emerging non-invasive neurological treatments.
The forum will be held in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi and Chandigarh on July 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2026, bringing together leading neurologists, neurosurgeons, healthcare experts, patients and caregivers to discuss evolving treatment pathways and innovations in neurological care.
Organised under the theme “Restoring Life with Focused Ultrasound,” the initiative seeks to increase awareness of movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor, while highlighting advanced treatment options, including MR-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS).
Speaking about the initiative, Abhi Vattikuti, Vice President, Vattikuti Foundation, said, “Advancing healthcare is not only about developing innovative technologies, but also about ensuring that knowledge, access and awareness reach the patients who need them most.”
“Through NeuroNext, we hope to create a meaningful platform for dialogue around emerging therapies that are reshaping neurological care and helping patients regain greater independence, confidence, and quality of life,” he added.
According to the Foundation, the growing burden of neurological disorders, driven in part by India’s ageing population, has created an urgent need for greater public awareness of available therapies. Although medications remain the primary treatment for movement disorders, many patients continue to experience symptoms that significantly affect mobility, independence and quality of life.
The Foundation said that despite advances in neurological care, awareness of treatment options beyond conventional medication remains limited, leaving many patients and caregivers unaware of interventions that could help improve symptom control and quality of life.
The NeuroNext Forum aims to bring together neurologists, neurosurgeons and healthcare leaders to discuss advances in non-invasive brain therapies and their role in improving patient outcomes.
A key focus of the Forum will be MR-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS), a non-invasive treatment approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The technology uses focused ultrasound guided by real-time MRI imaging to target affected areas of the brain without incisions, radiation, or implants. The therapy helps improve symptom control, mobility and functional independence while avoiding the need for surgery or anaesthesia.
The Foundation said NeuroNext is part of its broader commitment to advancing access to innovative healthcare solutions through education, awareness, and clinical collaboration.

Established in 1997, the Vattikuti Foundation has focused on advancing the global adoption of robotic surgery and has supported the expansion of robotic surgical programmes in more than 200 hospitals across India since 2010.
