Bengaluru-based health-tech company Tricog Health presented its AI-powered cardiac care technology to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping and other global leaders at the BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition 2026 in New Delhi.
Tricog was among the four companies that got face time with world leaders during the BRICS Summit.
The company said the interaction went beyond a technology showcase, providing an opportunity to demonstrate how technology developed in India can address healthcare problems shared by countries worldwide, particularly the challenge of delivering specialist-quality care to populations where clinical expertise is scarce or unevenly distributed.
The Tricog team demonstrated how the company combines artificial intelligence, connected medical devices, cloud technology and clinical expertise to enable faster detection and management of cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of death globally, while access to cardiologists, advanced diagnostics and organised cardiac-care pathways varies significantly between major cities and underserved regions. Tricog was founded to address this gap.
“When I started Tricog, my belief was simple: geography should never determine whether somebody survives a cardiac emergency,” said Dr Charit Bhograj, founder and CEO, Tricog Health.
“To demonstrate to world leaders how technology from India can help close that gap is an important moment for us. Our objective has always been to use AI to accelerate care, about using AI to reach a patient sooner, help clinicians act faster and ultimately change outcomes,” Dr Charit added
Tricog’s technology connects cardiac diagnostic devices and healthcare facilities to an AI-enabled platform that analyses clinical information, flags abnormalities and identifies patients requiring urgent attention. The technology is combined with medical expertise and care-coordination workflows to support faster clinical decision-making and treatment.
The Bharat Innovates Exposition was organised by the Union Ministry of Education in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs on September 11 and 12 as part of the 18th BRICS Summit under India’s 2026 BRICS Chairmanship. Thirty-seven Indian deep-tech innovators were selected to showcase technologies spanning healthcare, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, clean energy and other emerging sectors.
Bharat Innovates is a national programme of the Ministry of Education aimed at connecting Indian research and deep-tech innovation with global markets, investors, institutions and governments.
BRICS countries today represent close to half of the world’s population and around 40 per cent of global GDP. Under India’s chairship, the grouping has placed innovation at the centre of its theme, “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”

Prateek Golecha, Chief Growth Officer, and Nidhi Kohli Nandode, AVP–Marketing, Tricog, demonstrated the company’s cardiac intelligence platform to global leaders at BRICS 2026.
Integrated cardiac intelligence ecosystem
Tricog has expanded beyond acute ECG diagnosis into areas including AI-assisted echocardiography, cardiovascular risk stratification and remote monitoring. The company describes this broader offering as an integrated cardiac intelligence ecosystem.
Zainul Charbiwala, co-founder and CTO, Tricog Health, said, “We are bringing together medical-grade algorithms, connected devices, cloud infrastructure and clinical intelligence so that a cardiac signal can rapidly become an actionable clinical decision.”
“The next frontier is multimodal and longitudinal intelligence, where AI can understand more of the patient journey, recognise risk earlier and extend specialist capability far beyond the walls of a tertiary hospital,” Charbiwala added.
Prateek Golecha, chief growth officer, Tricog Health, said BRICS nations share an important healthcare reality – an enormous demand for high-quality care, alongside significant differences in where specialist expertise is available.
“AI gives us an opportunity to fundamentally change that equation. Presenting Tricog to Prime Minister Modi and global leaders was a tremendously proud moment, but the larger opportunity is what it represents – solutions designed and scaled in India can become healthcare infrastructure for the Global South and, increasingly, for the world,” he said.
National CVD Summit 2026
Later this month, the Government of Goa, in association with Tricog Health, will convene the National CVD Summit 2026 in Goa from September 25–27. The summit will focus on closing one of the biggest gaps in cardiovascular care: the distance between screening and timely treatment.
It will bring together policymakers, government health leaders, clinicians, public health experts, academic institutions and technology stakeholders from across the country.
