BPL Medical Technologies has strengthened its critical care portfolio with the launch of BPL Vent 300, a new ICU ventilator designed to support advanced respiratory management for adult, pediatric, and infant patients.
According to the company, the ventilator has been developed to deliver reliable respiratory support with ease of use to support consistent and effective patient management.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Shravan Subramanyam, Managing Director of BPL Medical Technologies, said, “Critical care teams today require equipment that can deliver precision, reliability, and ease of operation simultaneously. With the BPL Vent 300, we are further strengthening our critical care portfolio with a ventilator designed to support clinical decision-making while also improving usability for healthcare professionals working in high-pressure environments.”
Designed for use in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), High Dependency Units (HDUs), emergency rooms, recovery centres, and step-down ICUs, the BPL Vent 300 combines advanced ventilation capabilities with a compact, clinician-friendly design. The ventilator features a high-performance turbine capable of delivering up to 240 L/min peak flow, enabling operation without dependence on a central gas supply.
The BPL Vent 300 also comes equipped with a 12.1-inch full-touch display and weighs around 9 kg, making it suitable for flexible clinical use. It supports invasive, non-invasive, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) ventilation modes across adult, pediatric, and infant patient groups.
Additionally, the ventilator incorporates a range of clinical support tools, including lung protection and weaning assessment parameters such as P0.1, NIF, and RSBI, along with dynamic lung monitoring, lung recruitment manoeuvre support, PV Tool tracing, integrated nebulization, and auto leakage compensation during NIV therapy.
To support hospital connectivity and uninterrupted care, the system offers WiFi, 4G, wired networking, HL7 protocol compatibility, USB data export, HDMI, RS232, and nurse call interfaces. An inbuilt lithium battery provides up to two hours of backup support during power interruptions, while a 360-degree visual alarm system has been incorporated to improve alarm visibility in busy ICU settings.
Founded in 2013, BPL Medical Technologies is an Indian medical equipment manufacturer offering solutions across cardiology, critical care, imaging, and home healthcare.
BPL Medical’s ventilator portfolio includes the Elisa 300 ICU ventilator, Elisa 600 universal ventilator, and Leoni Plus HFO neonatal ventilator.
