Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, has appointed Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Soni as Director, Internal Medicine, strengthening its clinical leadership in the management of complex, chronic and multi-system medical conditions.
With more than four decades of experience in Internal Medicine, Dr. Soni brings extensive clinical and leadership experience across diabetes and metabolic disorders, preventive cardiology, thyroid disorders, infectious diseases, tuberculosis, rheumatology and other chronic conditions.
Prior to joining Yashoda Medicity, Dr. Soni served as senior consultant and head, Internal Medicine & Diabetology, at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Greater Noida. He has also held senior positions at Yashoda Hospital and Heart Institute, Santosh Hospital and Medical College, and Sitaram Jaipuria Medical Centre, Ghaziabad.
He has served as President of the Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine (IACM) and the U.P. Diabetic Association, Chairman of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) U.P. Chapter, and a member of the Governing Body of the Association of Physicians of India (API).
Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Soni said, “Internal Medicine is at the centre of managing patients whose health concerns rarely exist in isolation. Diabetes, hypertension, metabolic disorders, infections and cardiovascular risks often overlap, particularly as patients grow older, making comprehensive assessment and timely intervention increasingly important.”

Dr. Soni holds an MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Agra University. He has also completed fellowships from the Indian College of Physicians, Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine, American College of Physicians, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.
He is associated with Diabetes India, the Indian Society of Hypertension and the U.P. Diabetic Association.
